Happy Birthday, MS Dhoni..
It is a birthday, a day of celebration, not only for MS Dhoni & his family but for whole cricketing lovers who enjoyed and relished the DHONI ERA. Fortunately, we are among them.
Dhoni is one of the finest cricketer that India ever produced and arguably the “best” captain that we have ever witnessed. There might be many debates about the best captain or not but let’s keep that a side and realize that MS Dhoni is phenomenal for India.
In his ERA (still continuing), We had full of emotions either it be winning 1st T20 WC or winning ODI World cup or a championship. He has become the only captain to win all the 3 major ICC tournaments.
We might have lots of debates, spats or even fights about Dhoni but we should collectively agree that he has the fastest hands at wicket keeping and utmost fitness while running between the wickets. He made the revolution / may be enforced his partner to convert 1’s into 2’s and 2’s into 3’s.
Coming to his batting, he is the finest in his way and it is inevitable that everyone has their pros and cons. Though he frustrated us with this knocking around in middle overs but he definitely surprised rather entertained us in the slogging overs and eventually brought those sweet victories and gave us lots of memories.
He has not only entertained us but also inspired us to be calm in tense, pressure situations and handle them with sheer skills. We should also acknowledge his sense of timing either it be taking decision on field or off the field.
He also has the clear idea when to handover and transition it to younger generation who needs some time to take the journey forward but no doubt, that he is a great athlete as a player and has everything in him to continue till 2019 world cup.
We, DPVEU team wish Dhoni a very happy – prosperous birthday and wish good luck for coming years especially for 2019 world cup.
